The Property Tribune featuring Elliot Briers
Our own Elliot Briers was recently featured in The Property Tribune, offering his knowledgeable insights about the changing land market in Kalgoorlie. The article discuss how the property market has changed in regional towns since COVID arrived. Highlighting how the possibility to work from home has become an option for many, who are now seeking to go regional for a more relaxing life style.
Currently there is a strong demand for larger blocks around the 800sqm mark. People are looking to build, and the construction companies in the region seem to be more prepared for the increase in demand then in the Coastal Metropolitan. As suggested by Mr Briers “the builders within the region seem to have held out quite well with the built-up demand following the Government Building Grant Stimulus.”
Elliot Briers explains that there was a good amount of land available up until May 2020. That there are still great options for a range of buyers, from smaller land packages to larger and higher priced pieces of land although somewhat limited from prior to COVID. This is due to a range of factors including the influx of people moving interstate recently to secure mining and other positions.
However, this influx is welcomed as Mr Briers explains “This expected population growth should answer the prayers of many business owners who are desperate for additional employees, which will keep things moving in a positive direction for the region.”
With several successful land sales at Karlkurla Greenview Estate, Elliot is the perfect person to chat to about land sales and house and land packages.
